If you’ve noticed that you’re typing the same sentences over and over again, or that you’re copying and pasting the same pieces of text over and over again, perhaps because of your tasks at work or personal projects, then a text expander becomes a must have tool.
Espanso is precisely that, a system wide text expander that will type in preset templates when the right tag is invoked. Its really easy to install, but at the moment creating templates and sharing them takes a bit of work, but definitely reading the documentation definitely helps.
The application is super lightweight, cross-platform, free and open source. You can download it here.
